Eibach Suspension - Evolving the light Truck & SUV Market

Posted by Sean Reyes on

Being able to oversee and develop a ride control product entirely in-house goes a long way in supporting each and every vehicle application that goes through the Corona, CA Eibach facility. If you’ve been used to the regular names in the industry who have dominated aftermarket shock and spring offerings, Eibach is disrupting that balance with a vengeance. Find the best solutions for Eibach shocks here.

Their 2.0 coilover product is providing more lift height adjustment than the competition on many applications, this goes a long way to providing more clearance per vehicle.

The ‘recommended’ hardware from other manufacturers are already included in Eibach’s light truck suspension kits.

They’re looking at current offerings and innovating in a big way, such as their adjustable load leveling system for the 4Runner applications.

On top of the factory tour, we’ve been diving deep into some of their latest products.

Triple Truck Eibach-Test

2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 - Pro Truck Coilovers & Rear Shocks

Our staff's Silverado has received a couple shock treatments so far, and the Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 2 system was the 4th set of shocks the truck has been equipped with. This truck sees it all, dirt fun, towing duties, and daily driving through the streets and freeways of Los Angeles. Eibach has proven to be one of the most balanced sets of shocks so far, providing enough handling prowess to tow the trailer and Canam, while also maintaining fantastic road comfort and handling.

2020 Ford Ranger FX4 - Pro Truck Stage 2/R

This Ranger has seen the Bilstein 5100 height adjustable shocks, and Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks before being outfitted with the Stage 2 kit from Eibach. The driver of this Ranger appreciated the balanced feel of these shocks, not so soft to be squishy like the Fox tended to be, and not overly firm like Bilstein. We were lucky enough to test out the Stage 2 and 2R by changing out the rear IFP shocks to reservoir shocks, while on trail.

2022 Ford Bronco - Pro Truck Coilovers

The newest member of our fleet also got the Eibach shock treatment with a set of 4 coilovers. These replaced a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks, which ended up being softer than what we're used to in a Bilstein shock. The Eibach dampers proved to be a welcome improvement to the control of the Bronco. The shocks and new springs produced a noticeable improvement to handling on and offroad, and stabilizing the vehicle a bit on-road.
