Product Description
Fabtech's 5" Crawler® Coilover system provides unsurpassed articulation for offroad use with great highway manners for the daily driver. This Jeep JL Long Arm system is built to meet the most experienced driver's expectations without having a questionably fabricated suspension. If you are in the market for a system that will work properly right out of the box and does not require continued fabrication and constant maintenance, look no further.
This Jeep JL Coilover Conversion provides superior offroad suspension damping with a great highway ride compared to a separate coil spring and shock configuration. The stainless steel Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover offers a noticeable increase in ride quality and high speed damping that Jeep owners will appreciate.
A key part of the mounting of the Crawler's 5 Ton Link Arms® to the frame is the geometry and ground clearance. The location of the frame side of the link arms is critical in providing superior handling throughout the travel range. Fabtech has found the sweet spot geometry for the link arms that provide a superior driving long arm system compared to all others on the market.
Front link arms are mounted to a full width crossmember that spans frame rail to frame rail. This crossmember is a key in not only in mounting the Links arms at the correct geometry but it adds critical strength to the lighter weight JL frame for hard offroad use. Rear links attach to new frame mounts on the side of the frame for increased ground clearance and approach angle.
The Fabtech lower Link Arms are massive and built of 2" OD .313 thick wall tubing that is guaranteed not to bend. Upper and lower Link Arms includes the Fabtech's legendary 5 Ton joints® that come with lifetime guarantee of never wearing out. They are superior for offroad use with a smooth quiet operation on the street.

LINK ARM CROSSMEMBER & MOUNTS
A key part of the mounting of the long arm links to the frame is the geometry and ground clearance. The location of the frame side of the Link Arms is critical in providing superior handling throughout the travel range. Fabtech has found the sweet spot for the Link Arms that provide a superior driving Long Arm system compared to all others on the market.
Front Link Arm mounts are a full crossmember that spans frame rail to frame rail with no welding required for installation. This crossmember adds strength to the frame that is critical when running big tires with lots or articulation on a JL.
The rear frame mounts attach to the side of the frame increasing the approach angle of the lower links for increased clearance over large obstacles.
REAR DUAL RATE LONG TRAVEL COIL SPRINGS
Corner specific Dual Rate coils springs provide a level stance side to side and offer factory load carrying capacity with a smooth ride.
As a true dual rate coil, the first stage of the coil allows the spring to respond to small bumps for a very complaint ride at lower speeds. As the spring travels further, the rate increases to absorb larger impacts and support additional cargo of the vehicle.
These springs are the best on the market for all around driving while providing increased suspension travel for offroad use.
DRAGLINK FLIP SYSTEM
A heavy duty draglink is relocated on the steering knuckle to retain the factory steering geometry with the stock pitman arm. It provides bind free operation at full articulation and eliminates bump steer throughout the travel. It does not increase load on the steering box like a dropped pitman arm can.
FRONT TRACK BAR BRACKET
To work in conjunction with the Draglink Flip System, the front Track Bar is relocated to the proper operating plane with a 1/4" thick steel bracket that welds to the axle housing for a lifetime of trouble free use.
BUMP STOP EXTENSIONS
Front and rear bump stop extensions keep the suspension from over cycling with the increased ride height preventing damage to steering and suspension parts. The extensions utilize the factory closed cell cushions for a progressive stop at the end of the suspension travel.
BRAKE LINE DROPS
Factory brake lines are relocated down with simplistic brackets for the new range of travel to prevent tugging and interfere with suspension components. The brake system does not need to be opened for these drop brackets.
SWAY BAR LINKS
The extended length front and rear sway bar links with urethane bushings reposition the bars to work within the factory operating planes. These links are provided to eliminate the sway bar from going over center and creating link bind at full extension travel.
REAR TRACK BAR BRACKET
A weld on 1/4" thick steel bracket is built to eliminate mount deflection when the track bar moves through its full cycle. It relocates the factory track bar to retain the important factory roll center.
Coilover Conversion
The bolt on front Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover conversion provides outstanding high speed damping with the ability to crawl at low speed with maximum articulation for big rocks. Retains the factory coil spring bucket with minimal cutting for installation. The ultimate damping upgrade for rugged terrain with a great highway ride.
REAR DIRT LOGIC SHOCKS
Constructed of a stainless steel body with a NitroSteel® piston rod for maximum corrosion resistance and durability. Dirt Logic shocks have a superior ride quality both on and offroad with excellent damping for offroad use.

FABTECH LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Fabtech Motorsports provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original retail purchaser who owns the vehicle, on which the product was originally installed, for defects in workmanship and materials.
The Limited Lifetime Warranty excludes the following Fabtech items; bushings, bump stops, ball joints, tie rod ends, limiting straps, cross shafts, heim joints and driveshafts. These parts are subject to wear and are not considered defective when worn. They are warranted for 60 days from the date of purchase for defects in workmanship.
Dirt Logic and Performance Coilover take apart shocks are considered a serviceable shock with a one year warranty on leakage only. Service seal kits are available separately for future maintenance. All other shocks are covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Fabtech does not warrant any product for finish, alterations, modifications and/or installation contrary to Fabtech’s instructions. Alterations to the finish of the parts including but not limited to painting, powder coating, plating and/or welding will void all warranties. Some finish damage may occur to parts during shipping, which is considered normal and is not covered under warranty.
FREE Shipping applies to all products shipped to the lower 48 United States, excluding truck freight items that exceed 100lbs or custom orders.
- Leaf Springs, Axles, Long Travel Systems, and other products that get shipped on pallets will require specific shipping costs.
- We do not ship truck-freight items out of the country, only to freight forwarders setup by the buyer.
All other shipping destinations that are available will be calculated at checkout, or you can contact us prior to your purchase.

We sell only brand new, never-installed, authentic, brand-name parts. If your order arrives damaged, is missing hardware, appears used or pre-installed, or is incomplete in any way, we will jump into action to send replacements. We can usually have replacements sent immediately for these rare cases of damaged, incomplete, or incorrect orders.
Shock Surplus allows returns and exchanges inside of a 30-day window starting from time of receipt by the customer. It is our mission to make every transaction smooth, and fix any issues you may encounter.
- Products must be new, unused, and in uninstalled condition for us to accept a return.
- We do not accept installed parts, so be sure you have the correct part number(s) before attempting to install them on your vehicle.
- Returned parts must contain all associated hardware, otherwise that part number will be deducted from your refund.
Exchanges
No restocking fees. Our staff is on hand to make sure that your first purchase is exactly correct for your needs and vehicle, do not hesitate to contact us prior to your purchase through Live Chat or Email.

The typical turnaround for a refund or exchange is 5-10 business days, depending on the complexity of the case. Exchanges are subject to availability of stock; any exchanges proving out of stock will be refunded to the customer.

Returns Under Customer's Responsibility
- Below 50lbs - $15 flat rate deducted from the refund. Shock Surplus will provide a shipping label to make this process as easy as possible.
- Greater than 50lbs - Discounted shipping rates to get the product(s) back to Shock Surplus, that amount will be deducted from the refund. 50lb+ packages are automatically labeled 'Oversize' by our couriers, and automatically incur a $25 charge on top of the shipping fee.
Returns Under Shock Surplus' Responsibility
- Free, we will provide a return shipping label and ship the replacement parts for free. If a refund is preferred, a full refund will occur.
Refunds
You should expect to receive your refund within 5-7 business days of our warehouse receiving your return. The amount of time it takes for your refund to show up in your account varies by payment method, but typically takes 1-3 business days. You will also receive a message confirming the refund via the marketplace where the purchase happened. We wish we could speed up the process of funds reaching your payment method following a refund, but it is out of our hands.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account (top right corner of the screen), view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu, and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You can also contact contact us for any return requests.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page.
International Orders
- Orders are final, no returns
- Orders shipped to a freight forwarder in the US, are eligible for return if the product has not left the United States.
- It is the responsibility of the buyer and exporter to ensure correct items received before exporting. Shock Surplus is not responsible for items received once the freight forwarder has shipped the product.
- The buyer is responsible for import fees and taxes into their country. That is not covered in the shipping fee that Shock Surplus charges.
