RIGID products are built to last and take a beating. We believe in our products so much that we offer one of the most generous warranty policies in the industry. Below is a summary of the warranty policy and coverage.
Warranty Process
How to File a Warranty Claim
Start by contacting the vendor where you purchased the product. If the vendor does not have a warranty process, you can submit a claim directly on The Rigid Industries website.
To approve a warranty claim, we may require photos, videos, or additional information.
If your product is found to be defective under warranty, we may replace the item, issue a refund, or provide store credit at our discretion.
Once a claim is created, we typically respond within 1–3 business days.
Warranty Policy
We stand behind the quality of our products. Our limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, with coverage periods depending on product type and usage.
Warranty Coverage
All RIGID products include a limited lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects for the original purchaser, with the following exceptions:
• Radiance™ Series Lights: 10-year warranty from date of purchase.
• Commercial, Marine & Industrial Use: 5-year warranty for products used in heavy-duty environments.
• Accessories (mounts, covers, kits, etc.): 2-year warranty.
• Cosmetic Finishes & Select Products: 1-year warranty covering powder coating, lenses, dome lights, UWL™, Reflect™ (excluding light engine and mirror), Docking Lights #40038 and #40038-ABYC, and GPS modules.
• Mirror glass in Reflect™ products: No warranty.
• Flashlights, flashlight accessories, and lithium-ion batteries: No warranty.
• Packaging: No warranty.
Additional Exclusions
The Limited Warranty does not cover normal maintenance or adjustments, nor damage relating to:
1. Seal tampering or actions compromising water-tight integrity.
2. Accident, alteration, misuse, negligence, abuse, vandalism, or physical damage.
3. Any repair, replacement, or alteration not performed by RIGID.
4. Improper installation, including electrical damage caused by incorrect installation.
5. Use inconsistent with documentation or instructions provided by RIGID.
6. Use of equipment or parts not manufactured by RIGID.
7. Fire, explosion, natural disasters, or other catastrophic events.
8. Exposure to excessive hazards, heat, severe environments, unintended uses, or damage beyond normal wear and tear.
9. Acts or omissions of carriers delivering RIGID products.
Important Notes
EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY ABOVE, THERE ARE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL RIGID BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
ALL BUYERS, USERS AND SELLERS OF RIGID PRODUCTS UNDERSTAND THAT CERTAIN PRODUCTS ARE MADE AND SOLD FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. BUYER RELEASES AND AGREES TO INDEMNIFY RIGID FROM ANY CLAIMS OR DAMAGES ASSOCIATED WITH THE IMPROPER OR ALLEGED IMPROPER USE OF OFF-ROAD PRODUCTS.

Free Shipping on most orders to the lower 48 U.S. states. Truck freight items (over 100 lbs) and custom orders require a separate shipping quote.
- Applies to items like axles, leaf springs, and long-travel kits.
- No international shipping on freight items — only to U.S.-based freight forwarders.
- Worldwide shipping available: Canada, Europe, UAE, Australia, and most of Asia.

Returns & Exchanges
30-Day Return Policy - Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and include all original hardware.
- No restocking fees for exchanges or gift card credit.
- 10% restocking fee on refunds, returns cost us real money, so the 10% helps keep the lights on.
- Installed, damaged, or dirty parts cannot be returned.
Return Shipping Responsibility
Shock Surplus Package and Order Protection plan provides prepaid return labels for any returned packages, this fee varies by product.
- Our mistake (misboxed, wrong item, damaged): We cover the cost of return shipping.
- Your mistake (wrong item ordered, fitment error, changed mind): Return shipping is your responsibility.
- Under 50 lbs: Discounted carrier rate (deducted from your refund).
- Over 50 lbs: Discounted carrier rate + $25 oversize fee (deducted).
Refunds
Refunds are issued within 5-7 business days of receiving your return.
- Funds typically post to your account in 1-3 business days depending on your payment method.
- There is a 10% restocking fee on all refunds. We do not get our original shipping, labor, or transaction fees back - so the 10% restocking fee keeps the lights on.
- You will receive an email once your refund is processed.
International Orders
- All international orders are final sale.
- Returns via freight forwarders only accepted if the product has not left the U.S.
- Import taxes and fees are the buyer's responsibility and not included in our shipping charges.
- We are not responsible for goods once exported outside the U.S.
